With the downturn in the economy Prince William County has seen a great decrease in the number of land use cases.  Most of the applications coming before the Board of County Supervisors are small cases such as an an applicant requesting the ability to have a drive-thru.

Prince William County has a database of all land use applications.  This database is known as the Development Application Processing Schedule (DAPS).  The DAPS provides pertinent information regarding and application such as the name of the applicant, the properties involved, a brief description of the project and a link to the staff report.  To view the full DAPS please use the following link, http://www.pwcgov.org//default.aspx?topic=040073000050002351 and then click the first link "Complete Development Application Processing Schedule.  The Planning Office can be reached by phone at (703) 792-6830 or by email at  planning@pwcgov.org if you have any further questions.  The Prince William County Planning Office, located at 5 County Complex Court, Prince William, VA 22192, maintains development applications.

Land use cases are typical heard on the first and third Tuesday of the month beginning at 7:30pm in the Board Chambers.  If you would like to address the Board for a particular application, you must attend the meeting and sign up to speak during the public hearing for the application which interests you.  The sign up sheets are typically located to the right as you enter the Board Chambers.  There will be a separate sign up sheet for each application heard that meeting so be sure to register for the correct application.  For additional information, contact Phillip J. Campbell, Clerk to the Board of County Supervisors, at 703-792-6600.

ACCESSIBILITY TO PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES:  The hearings are being held at a public facility believed to be accessible to persons with disabilities.  Any persons with questions on the accessibility of the facility should contact Phillip J. Campbell, Clerk to the Board, at One County Complex Courty, Prince William, Virginia, or by telephone at (703) 792-6600 or TDD (703) 792-6295.  Persons needing interpreter services for the deaf should notify the Clerk to the Board.
